The Fire In “Praise On Fire”

It has been over 35 years since the Lord first began speaking to me about the glorious “fire” of His presence. The scripture says in Hebrews 12:29 that our God is a consuming fire and in 1st Chronicles 16:27, that glory and honor are in the presence of the Lord. So, when we find ourselves enveloped in the tangible, manifest presence of the living God, we have stepped into His glory, which is a consuming fire…

How does one step into that fire? By entering into His presence. And, how does one enter into His presence? Psalm 100, of course; “we enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise”.

And so, the revelation began….deepening with each passing year, as deep called unto deep, ever pressing, deeper and deeper into Him, having more and more of the chaff burned away, until I could almost see a glimmer of what the apostle Paul spoke of in 2nd Corinthians 3:18 — “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”  The fire was doing its work.

And then, in 1986, He began speaking of the significance of praise that flows out of us by a revelation of His word; how that praise would be by faith, because faith comes from the rhema word of God. And, how praise by faith would have substance in the realm of the spirit, because “faith is the substance of things hoped for”. He showed me how these substantial, faith-filled building blocks of praise (flowing out of the abundance of our heart) formed a habitation in the spiritual realm. That only a habitation built from praise, is a suitable place for Him to dwell in the midst of His people, as we are exhorted in Exodus 15:2. This verse declares to God’s people to prepare Him a habitation by exalting Him!

I began worshipping Him and leading brethren into worship of Him, from our hearts, in the deep belief that His word was true and that He really did inhabit our praise. And, that when we praised and worshipped Him, as heartfelt “doers of His word”, that He would come to us in His manifest presence and fill the place where we were with the fire of His glory and meet with us…….and He did. Every time…….every time we met together with believers in Christ and cried out to Him and blessed Him and praised Him with all of our hearts, He would come to us…..and show Himself to us. There would be a deep sense of His holiness and His love, His goodness and His power. He would heal and save and deliver. He would comfort and guide and direct.

And then, I learned that the original Hebrew language of the passage in Psalm 22:3 not only says that God inhabits the praise of His people, but that it also teaches that He is “seated enthroned” upon the praises of His people. Now, I truly saw the awesome majesty of how He had been leading me. That when we praise Him by being a doer of the revelation of His word, it literally convenes the spiritual court of heaven in the midst of us here in the natural realm! That our precious King Jesus comes and seats Himself upon His throne, a throne built by our praise.  There He holds court and administrates His Kingdom in the midst of and through His church!! The throne of any king is his place of authority and kingdom rulership, and praising Jesus causes His Kingdom to manifest in the natural realm. It is tangible and transforming and authoritative. Oh what vision it created in me and those I was privileged to lead, as we saw ourselves now in the light of His word, bowing before His throne of grace, to find mercy and grace to help in our time of need. And, there in the midst of the fire of His glory, brought forth by our praise, He transforms us from glory to glory. HALLELUJAH!

So, for over 35 years now I have been inviting people into His fire and sharing with them about “Revealed Praise” and enthroning the King. There is fire and glory in the manifest presence of the Lord!  His praise is on fire with the goodness of Him. It is transforming….it is glorious. And you too, are invited to……STEP INTO THE FIRE!
