In their second annual Broadcasting Summit held in San Francisco, Live365 announced the winners of their 2005 Broadcasting Awards on May 1st, 2005. Winning the  top category for Christian Genre’ stations with total monthly listening hours above 10,000 was  Praise On Fire Radio! Garnering a “Mikey  Award” among the network’s Christian Internet Radio Stations for the second year running, POFR’s Program Director and General Manager, Jacquie Hopper said, “In 2004  we   were voted  for one of  two ‘Best of  Live365 Broadcast Awards’ for the Christian  Genre’ and  this  year, for 2005,  we have  won  again!  It  is a  huge  honor, as there are hundreds of awesome Christian broadcasts who are part of this network and also very deserving.”

 

Operating from a small studio on the east coast of Florida, in an area known as “The Space Coast”, Praise On Fire Radio is in it’s fifth year of broadcasting the gospel worldwide, via the Internet.  Programming a “contemporary  praise and worship”  format,  Mrs. Hopper, as  a   twenty year veteran worship leader, utilizes a playlist flow which mimics the contemporary worship services heard in most churches today.  “Our goal is to draw the listener into an experience with the presence of God and an attitude of worship, as they listen and enthrone the King of Kings upon their praise”, said Mrs. Hopper. “Additionally, we include scripture readings and devotionals throughout the broadcast day.”

 

   Praise On Fire Radio is one of several outreaches of Freedom Wing Ministries, the covering organization for Mrs. Hopper’s itinerant ministry.
